Following this trail north along the damaged highway leads directly to a small Enclave outpost.
Defeating the soldiers stationed at this field camp requires caution due to their heavy weaponry and high damage output. Once the area is cleared, access the local terminal to read their operational orders and download the homing beacon frequency. This data unlocks new tracking markers needed to progress deeper into the faction's operations.
Tracking the Homing Signal into the Glowing Sea
After acquiring the frequency, open your Pip-Boy radio and tune in to the Enclave Homing Beacon signal. Head toward the perilous nuclear wasteland known as the Glowing Sea to begin tracking the source. The signal percentage on screen will increase as you travel southwest toward the ruined Atlantic Offices building.
Upon reaching the structure, prepare for immediate resistance from armored guards holding the perimeter. Eliminating the surface forces allows you to enter the building, though stepping inside triggers an immediate security lockdown. Navigating the interior corridors requires tactical patience as you push past automated turrets and hostile patrols.
Lifting the Lockdown and Clearing the Base
Progress through the linear hallway layout until reaching the command chamber where the Enclave Colonel resides. Defeating the commander allows you to retrieve the master terminal password from his body. Accessing the adjacent command terminal lets you override the facility lockdown and restore full elevator access to the roof.
Before taking the lift to exit, examine the terminal logs to mark three extra regional outposts across the Commonwealth map. Taking the elevator to the roof initiates a final battle against an Enclave Vertibird assault squad. Successfully destroying these final reinforcements officially concludes the main storyline and unlocks unique rewards.
